Key Findings at a Glance

Boston average rents increased across all unit types in Q2 2026 with the Seaport District maintaining the highest average rent at $4,500 per month for a one bedroom apartment.

Overall Boston renter satisfaction score of 6.8 out of 10 in Q2 2026. Somerville leads at 7.9. Seaport trails at 6.1 despite highest rents.
